Since our founding in 2017, we have challenged everything about the pet food industry and never wanted to be just another pet food company. We were on a mission to provide the most nutrient-dense products with the highest digestibility, using the cleanest and fewest ingredients possible while holding ourselves to the highest standards in everything we do.

What started as an informal benchmark to achieve B Corp standards gradually became a significant corporate goal, making ongoing progress every year. After conducting a “B-Impact” self-assessment and application for certification, we have received a B-Impact assessment score of 106.8 (with only a minimum score of 80 required to become certified).
This achievement adds us to the esteemed list of only five other pet food B Corps in the world and as one of two in North America. By holding ourselves accountable to B Corp standards, we stand behind our belief that “people using business as a force for good” is not only possible, but a fundamental obligation.

B Corporations are held to the highest social and environmental performance standards in transparency and accountability. To be certified, businesses must go through a rigorous verification process and are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions not only on their shareholders, but also on their stakeholders. They are evaluated on their total social and environmental impact, from employee benefits and charitable giving to supply chain operations and product materials. We are proud to be among these leaders in the global movement for an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.
A Commitment to Charitable Partners
Another Way to Put Pets Before Profits
As part of the movement for change, our commitment to supporting charitable partners is a formal company mission. Our priority has always been, and will always be, to put the health and wellness of pets, and the people that care for them, first. One step we take to achieve this goal is by donating the equivalent of 2% or more of our annual gross revenue (including in-kind product donations) every year to certified 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations that align with our commitments to pets and their people. When we say we put Pets Before Profits, we do so throughout every part of the business.
A Promise of Transparency
What Matters to Us
In order to achieve B Corp certification, a company must meet several standards, including those concerning transparency. Corporations show their transparency by measuring performance against B Lab's benchmarks and allowing that data to be publicly available on their profile on the B Lab website.
We've always believed that the more customers know, the better. That is why our products are authenticated by a board-certified companion animal nutritionist, made in Safe Quality Foods (SQF) certified facilities, complete third-party typical nutrient analysis, digestibility testing, and energy metabolization, and include country of origin data for ingredients, packaging, and manufacturing.
