YOUR PET FAMILY IS AMAZING, WHERE SHALL WE BEGIN?

As for dogs, there’s Willy Bobby. I got him from animal control when I went there for another dog… I stopped to pet dogs in the cages on the way out and he crawled up onto my chest and curled up under my neck. I was a goner. I took both dogs home. Jojo is small chocolate, brown, tan, and white dog with big ears. We got him from a local rescue as a puppy and on the way home found out he gets car sick as he threw all over the truck. Fun times. He is Mr. Bossy Pants and thinks everyone should worship him.

As for cats, we have Gracie and Baby Kitty. Sisters, actually. We got them at a local rescue when they were four or five months old. And feral. It took a little time for them to adjust. they are actually very social and prefer to hang out with us more than be by themselves. As soon as I walk in the door, they run into the kitchen to say hi and meow like crazy wanting me to pet them… or sit down on the couch to let them sit on me.

YOU MENTIONED HORSES

NOBL Foods Kibble Anonymous Pack Spotlight: Michelle AkersThunder, Phoenix, Cheyenne, Candy Cane, and Cami. These guys are all ages and big and small and all colors and kinds. There are lots of personalities and stories and years of love given and received, which began the day I was asked to foster a horse who’d been almost starved to death. Today, I run Michelle Akers Horse Rescue, a deep passion I found after my playing days with the US Women's National Soccer Team was done. I have a few other animal friends around the place too...

WHO WAS YOUR FIRST FAMILY DOG?

An Australian Shepherd named Fluffy. She was ‘my dog” and spent almost every moment with me when I was home. As kids, we sat on our skateboards and raced each other down a steep narrow driveway/road that led from the busy street below up to our little 4 house neighborhood on top of a hill. It was hilarious because we not only had beat each other but we also had to try to keep her from pulling us off by the pant legs as we went down the hill.

AS A CONSUMER, WHAT ARE THE EXPECTATION YOU HAVE OF PET FOOD COMPANIES TODAY?

I am constantly disappointed by the crummy dog food companies market and sell to feed their dogs. And most of the time, the high-end, crazy expensive pet food brands are mostly filled with crap too. I expect companies to care about the impact of their product on the dog… which is why it is a struggle to find a company with a good product at a reasonable price.

SO, WHAT ARE YOUR "NO BULL" IMPRESSIONS OF YOUR BARS, BEFORE -- AND AFTER YOU FED THEM TO YOUR DOGS?

At first look, the food bars from Guardian looked bland, awful, and cardboard looking. I expected more frills or chunky ingredients or texture or that it would look like a Cliff Bar or something like that…. but my dogs love them! I see the change in their skin, coat, poop, health, etc., and now I don’t care what they look like!

THANK YOU MICHELLE: LOVER OF PETS AND ANIMALS OF ALL SHAPES & SIZES

At NOBL, we find joy from seeing the love and compassion other pet parents express for their pet family. It's clear Michelle has found a deep passion for dogs, chickens, horses, and goats. We encourage the NOBL pack to check out Michelle's Horse Rescue operation and if you're curious about what her story was before horses, you might enjoy watching this video from NBC Sports last June and was listed as UCF's Top Female Athlete of All Time earlier this month.
