The claimed invention recited in the patent is a shelf-stable, freeze-dried, food for dogs with a caloric density of at least 5,000 kcal/kg of metabolized energy (ME), contains no artificial ingredients, supplies vitamins or minerals via fruits and vegetables, is not heat-extruded, and is 100% nutritionally complete & balanced.
